Meet Our Founder, Maria Markus
Maria earned her College Counseling Certificate with distinction from UCLA's Extension program and is an active member of the IECA Professional community and International ACAC. With over 20 years of experience in the education industry, Maria has developed deep expertise in guiding students through the intricate process of selecting and applying to boarding schools and universities across the US and Europe.
Her extensive experience includes founding and managing two successful tutoring centers in Connecticut, where she specialized in helping students enhance their academic performance and prepare for standardized tests. Maria's passion for education is matched by her commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through this pivotal stage of their academic journey with personalized care and attention.
Maria takes a tailored approach to each student, excelling at helping them discover their own path to success regardless of their background, interests, or academic challenges. She has worked with students across a broad spectrum of interests, from Computer Science to Performing Arts, ensuring they are well-prepared for the next stage of their educational journey.
